Which baby blessing symbol should I choose?

As you get older, it’s hard to remember which blessing symbol to use when blessing a baby.

Blessed Thomas Rhett, a Canadian, was raised in a faith-based family, but is now a Christian.

He said the blessing symbol on his baby’s bedside table was the symbol of a blessing.

“It’s not the symbol that’s important to me,” he said.

“My son has a baby blessing, which is really nice.”

Rhett’s son, Austin, has cerebral palsy and uses a wheelchair, and Rhett said he doesn’t want to be left out.

“I’ve been blessed to have that symbol on the bedside,” he explained.

“And I don’t think my son should be forced to have the symbol.

I think he should be allowed to have his own.”

When asked how he would handle an autistic son who has a blessing symbol and is required to have it on his bedside, Rhett suggested, “I’d give it to him.”
